A portion of RAWR proceeds supports the Chattahoochee Valley's largest animal welfare nonprofit. Here's who they are, and how you can help.
Keeping pets out of the shelter system and in loving homes: through affordable veterinary care, foster and adoption programs, humane education, and community outreach across Columbus, Georgia.
Who they are
Founded in 2009, Paws Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the largest animal welfare organization in the Chattahoochee Valley. They operate entirely on private support from donors, volunteers, and partner organizations (no federal, state, or city funding), which means every dollar goes directly toward saving lives.
Their vision is bigger than a shelter: an Animal Resource Center where pets and people find each other, partnerships are forged, and the region moves closer to becoming a no-kill community.
